The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square invited singers everywhere to join in the worlds largest virtual Hallelujah chorus by submitting videos of themselves singing along with the Hallelujah part of their choice (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). Videos of selected singers were featured in the final video with the Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. She made her BBC Proms debut as a soloist in Bernstein MASS with the BBC Orchestra of Wales in 2013 followed by her debut at the Lucerne Festival singing Coro by Berio with Sir Simon Rattle in 2014. Most recently she has been invited to sing with Det Norske Solistkor including performances in Oslo and Trondheim of works by Berio, Tavener and Kleiberg. Since graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire in 2012 he has worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company and sang with the Armonico Consort as well as with Blossom Streets chamber choir. In 2014, Dale also toured with the National Gilbert Sullivan Opera Company for six months, singing in the chorus. Last year, Dale rejoined the RSC for another run of shows of The Merchant of Venice. He has a particular interest in new music, and has given premieres of works by Nick Bict, Stephen Deazley, Louis Mander and Josh Spear. On the opera stage he appeared as Ko-Ko in an acclaimed production of The Mikado with Co-Opera Co., Jesus in Jonathan Harveys Passion and Resurrection (Voices of London Festival), Edward VIII in the premiere of Josh Spears That Woman (Tte--Tte Festival), Pritschitsch in The Merry Widow (Opera Danube) and Jamie in The Sleeper (world premiere with Welsh National Youth Opera). For Oxford Chamber Theatre he played Ariel in The Tempest and the title role in Hamlet. ![]() Emily is an experienced singing teacher and vocal animateur, and has worked on projects for The BBC National Chorus of Wales, The Arts Active Trust and WNO Max. She studied music at the University of York, winning the York University Concerto Prize and, following her MA, she continued her vocal training at Birmingham Conservatoire where she was a finalist in various competitions and winner of the Birmingham Conservatoire Singing Prize. Whilst at York, she was a member of the University Chamber Choir and a founder member of Blossom Street. Before concentrating on operatic projects she was a regular on the choral circuit in London and continues to perform as a member of Blossom Street. Robert was Tenor Lay Clark at Birmingham Cathedral for 5 years, having previously sung there as a treble. Handel Hallelujah Chorus Bass Part Professional Church ChoirsHe has also enjoyed singing with many professional church choirs in London, most notably Westminster Abbey, St Pauls Cathedral, St Martin in the Fields, Chelsea Old Church and Westminster Cathedral. ![]() He is now a lay clerk at Southwark Cathedral and sings with renowned choirs including the Monteverdi Choir, London Voices, Farm Street Singers, and Blossom Street. He has also worked extensively with the Zrcher Sing-Akademie in Zurich, Switzerland. Her guest work includes ensembles such as the BBC Symphony Chorus, Trinity Laban Chamber Choir, BBC Radio 4s Daily Service Singers, the University of Greenwich Choir and the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Chorus, whom she recently prepared for a performance of Mahler Symphony No. ![]() Handel Hallelujah Chorus Bass Part Series The ChoirShe also runs an annual project with Master of the Queens Music, Judith Weir, at the Royal Academy of Music, in conjunction with Blossom Street and the RAM composition department, and is conductor of PO Ferries Choir, the group which won the BBC2 series The Choir, and whom she met whilst filming for the series. In addition to her regular conducting work, Hilary also acts as an adjudicator, choral workshop leader and guest conductor.
